1 Samuel 17:32‭-‬37
David said to Saul, “Your Majesty, no one should be afraid of this Philistine! I will go and fight him.”  “No,” answered Saul. “How could you fight him? You're just a boy, and he has been a soldier all his life!”  “Your Majesty,” David said, “I take care of my father's sheep. Whenever a lion or a bear carries off a lamb, I go after it, attack it, and rescue the lamb. And if the lion or bear turns on me, I grab it by the throat and beat it to death. I have killed lions and bears, and I will do the same to this heathen Philistine, who has defied the army of the living God. The LORD has saved me from lions and bears; he will save me from this Philistine.” “All right,” Saul answered. “Go, and the LORD be with you.”

Conviction is the force behind every great man. Every man succeed in this life on the ground of what kind of conviction He has.
The engine that supplies strength to any great man that you see is conviction. Another name for conviction is encounter or a hidden reality.
You are limited only by the force of Your conviction. Everything in life you see is functional because there's a hidden reality about it.
Most times we don't fail but we just lack convictions. Conviction is a reality that is best known to yourself. Conviction is not just word but a person in disguise.
Conviction is the derivative of the complete work of Christ. A man of conviction goes straight forward Where others say is impossible, he boldly says is possible. Job said though He slay me, yet I will still serve Him. Paul said what can separate me from the love of Christ!? People are fighting to kill him, but, Paul saw something bigger than death, suffering and the rest Jesus fixed His gaze at the cross because it's there that his conviction is
There's a man we talk about always but we don't seems to figure out something! Permit me to paraphrase , about David, with Goliath.
The Bible says Goliath use to come and stand and talk David was sent to the camp
And when it was forty day's He use to come and challenge them right?
We see 40 is the number of generation.
On the fortieth day, Goliath was not just a person He was a portal for evil
And anything bad ascribed it to Goliath. It was whenever challenges come that our conviction is tempered with right? David was in that shoe

Listen to how He handle it. He spoke about his conviction remember He said, King, while I was in the bush Challenges like this use to come but it don't harm me, he said he killed a lion. The king wanted to kill his conviction. He said can you kill Him?
Be careful who You share your convictions with, they might either help you to grow it or kill it.
David said to Goliath, WHO IS THIS UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINES
Listen this is what David Build his conviction on. There's a covenant, God made with Abraham. This is extended to all isrealite which is I will bless those who bless you and curse who curse you right?
And He told Abraham to circumcise all the Israelites as the signed of the covenant right
Goliath has curse David and His God, what do You think will happen. He curse David and His God so , the covenant needs to work.
Goliath had to die. Goliath did not die while they throw the stone, He died the moment David says who is this UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINES
So, David did not kill Goliath with stone alone, next time mentioned the covenant and his conviction
His brothers were there in the camp for many days , but nobody had the boldness to face Goliath and just say a word, who is this UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINES
Our victory is depends on the level of our conviction.
Conviction is a force that is moving a person. David has a strong connection, that makes a king to be surprised and be disappointed
If your convection had never made anyone see You like a fool, You haven't started.
