The Good Lord & Creator

The GOOD CREATOR

Scripture
Romans 5:1‭-‬8 GW
Now that we have God’s approval by faith, we have peace with God because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done. Through Christ we can approach God and stand in his favor. So we brag because of our confidence that we will receive glory from God. But that’s not all. We also brag when we are suffering. We know that suffering creates endurance, endurance creates character, and character creates confidence. We’re not ashamed to have this confidence, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Look at it this way: At the right time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for ungodly people. Finding someone who would die for a godly person is rare. Maybe someone would have the courage to die for a good person. The Messiah died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God’s love for us.

Romans 8:37‭-‬39 GW
The one who loves us gives us an overwhelming victory in all these difficulties. I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces or powers in the world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation.

1.) The Messiah died for us while we were still sinners.
Maybe you’ve heard this popular phrase at church or in Christian circles: “God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.” It’s easy to say and easy to remember, but that truth can be difficult to feel. This song is a reminder that no matter what you’ve done and no matter what may come your way, God is good and in His never-ending goodness, He will not give up on you.

"This freedom purchased by the highest price, this grace outweighing all my shame. I’m made new through the power of sacrifice. From death now raised to life again."

God’s goodness is not a prize to be won or something to earn—it is freely given. Romans 5:8 NIV says: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

When you feel like you are unworthy of forgiveness, or when everything around you seems lost, remember there is nothing that could separate you from His love and goodness. Even at our worst moment, God sent His Son to die for us so that we would have everlasting life.

So in every season, may we remember this good news: God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.

2.)To God Be The Glory
Psalms 66:1‭-‬20 GW
Shout happily to God, all the earth! Make music to praise the glory of his name. Make his praise glorious. Say to God, “How awe-inspiring are your deeds! Your power is so great that your enemies will cringe in front of you. The whole earth will worship you. It will make music to praise you. It will make music to praise your name.” Selah Come and see what God has done— his awe-inspiring deeds for Adam’s descendants. He turned the sea into dry land. They crossed the river on foot. We rejoiced because of what he did there. He rules forever with his might. His eyes watch the nations. Rebels will not be able to oppose him. Selah Thank our God, you nations. Make the sound of his praise heard. He has kept us alive and has not allowed us to fall. You have tested us, O God. You have refined us in the same way silver is refined. You have trapped us in a net. You have laid burdens on our backs. You let people ride over our heads. We went through fire and water, but then you brought us out and refreshed us. I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will keep my vows to you, the vows made by my lips and spoken by my ⌊own⌋ mouth when I was in trouble. I will offer you a sacrifice of fattened livestock for burnt offerings with the smoke from rams. I will offer cattle and goats. Selah Come and listen, all who fear God, and I will tell you what he has done for me. With my mouth I cried out to him. High praise was on my tongue. If I had thought about doing anything sinful, the Lord would not have listened ⌊to me⌋. But God has heard me. He has paid attention to my prayer. Thanks be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or taken away his mercy from me.

Philippians 4:19‭-‬20 GW
My God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Jesus. Glory belongs to our God and Father forever! Amen.

"To God be the glory! He has done great things. He will never change. To God be the glory!"

It is incredible to look not only through Scripture but also through your own life to see what amazing things God has done. Sometimes, you just need to shout about it and give God glory!

Our God is in the business of miracles. There are countless Scriptures that describe God’s great works, endless mercy, unrelenting love, and constant forgiveness, but we believe it doesn’t stop there. Our God is still at work, and all you have to do is look around you. He is changing hearts, saving lives, and working miracles.

3.) Fullness Of Life For Me & You
John 10:10 GW
A thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But I came so that my sheep will have life and so that they will have everything they need.

Jesus tells us in John 10:10 that He came so that we may have “life and life to the full.” This life is meant to be more than just going through the motions. We are meant to experience life through the lens of eternity—through the lens of Jesus.

Because of Jesus’ extravagant love for us, we have life, we have freedom, and we have hope! Our challenge is to then go out and love others the way Jesus has loved us. We show others through our words, thoughts, and actions that life with Jesus is just better.

Lamentations says that His mercies are new every morning. Your sin is erased, your past is forgiven, your shame is undone in Jesus. In Jesus, you have true life.

4.) Freedom Whenever I Say Jesus
Philippians 2:9‭-‬11 GW
This is why God has given him an exceptional honor— the name honored above all other names— so that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will kneel and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

"When I say Jesus, the very mention shatters the darkness and calms my soul."

When we call upon Jesus, we’re not just stringing together words or names. There is true power in the name of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus, we find salvation. We are told to pray in the name of Jesus because it is through Him that we have a relationship with God. The Apostle Paul says in his letter to the church in Philippi that “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”

If the forces of evil in the world must bow at the mere mention of His name, then when we, as followers of the living God, call upon His name our very fears, anxieties, addictions, and sicknesses must bow to Him. There is freedom in the name of Jesus.
