Understanding The Difference Between Paul & Jesus Christ Teachings

Looking at the teachings of Jesus in the four Gospels (the books: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John), there seems to be a very wide gap between what Jesus taught and what we see apostle Paul teach in his epistles. For instance, in Matthew 6:14-15 we see Jesus saying “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” However when Paul wrote his epistles to the Ephesians and Colossians, he said something that looked like an opposite of what Jesus said. He puts his this way: Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Col 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. He urged believers to forgive others not so as God will forgive them but because God has ALREADY forgiven them. ...

Fornication According To The Bible

Whatever you feed grows. If you feed your lust and flesh you will become more carnal. But if you feed your spirit with the word of God, you will become more spiritual. And to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Inter-faithing with other religions is fornication (Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land; for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you and you will eat their sacrifices.Exd 34:15) Fornication has killed so many legends, kings, leaders and many annointed men of God. So When the Bible talks about Fornication it's simply pointing to the direction of following other lesser gods, the fallen angels Committing fornication in layman terms refers to contaminating the good things taught by the Word and falsifying its truths. Romans 8:6. Receive the grace to stop feeding the lust of the flesh, the list of the eyes and the pride of life in Jesus mighty name. Fornication is also sleeping with someone ...

The Bible & Allegory (Is King James Version Really The Best)

When Christ said “except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you” (John 6:53), He did not mean His literal body. Most people will accept this as true. The Son of God was obviously not advocating Papua New Guinea style cannibalism. He was of course speaking of His figurative body and blood, which we partake in when we observe Holy Communion, a practice that began 2000 years before Christ came to Earth, as demonstrated by Abraham and Melchizedek in Genesis 14:18. So, why do we take other Scriptural accounts that were meant to be taken figuratively, literally? There are accounts in Scripture that were written in Hebrew and Aramaic and both of these languages tend to use polite words for things, places and situations that may be indiscreet to mention in decent company. For instance, the word that would literally be translated as carnal copulation or coitus between a man and a woman is referred to as knowledge or know in the Old Testame...

God Cares About Your Outward Appearance

Mathew 23:26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Don't you know that the reason why the outward look is corrupt is because the inward is corrupt? Someone who dresses immorally simply has an immoral heart. If the person should clean the immoral heart, the outward appearance won't look immoral. God cares more about the content of the heart, but this doesn't mean he doesn't give a damn about the outward appearance. What you have inside your heart is expressed outwardly in your looks. That's why Jesus said in the verse above that we should clean the inside of the cup so that the outside will be clean as well. If the outside looks dirty, there's no way the inside will look clean. Try to think about the reason why a lady would dress in skimpy or tight clothes that reveal delicate parts of her body. It's not because she just wants to wear clothes. It's because she wants to ...
